 Lubbock Matadors Soccer Club LLC is owned by passionate soccer fans, savvy sports executives, successful business leaders and Texas Tech Alumni. Matadors Ownership Group is committed to growing the beautiful game in West Texas by bringing the Worlds Game to Lubbock Texas in major way.

  • ProRel Soccer Ventures

    ProRel Soccer Ventures is the majority owner of Lubbock Matadors SC. ProRel Soccer Ventures includes a mix of soccer entrepreneurs, business owners & "C" Level Executives who all love the game of soccer and excited to invest in growing the game in Lubbock.

  • HITCH

    25 year Soccer Management Executive who spent over 12 years in Major League Soccer. Known as a strategic thinker and soccer pioneer, Hitch has won numerous MLS Business Awards during his MLS Career. Since Hitch has worked with over 85 professional soccer leagues, teams, events & venues through his sports management company, PMI. Based in Dallas, Hitch fell in love with Lubbock through his daughter attending Texas Tech. His son plays College Soccer for VCU in Richmond, VA.

  • BRENT MCCARTY

    Texas Tech Alumni who is currently CEO at Argos Health. Before Argos, McCarty held positions as CEO at multiple companies. Passionate soccer fan whose son plays College Soccer at Washington & Lee. McCarty graduated from Texas Tech in 1986 with a BBA in Accounting and Finance. His favorite Premier League team is Manchester United.

  • DAVID JOYNER

    Graduated from Texas Tech University in 1986 with a B.B.A. in Finance and currently serves on the Advisory Council to the Rawls College of Business. After 27 years and 5 transformational mergers and acquisitions, David retired from CVS Health as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and member of the Executive Leadership Team for CVS Health. Today, Joyner is currently serving as an advisor and board member to several PE backed healthcare companies. His favorite Premier League team is Manchester City.

  • TwoDocs Brewing Co.

    Founded by two doctors, Dr. Eric Cunningham and Dr. Tyson Purdy, and their friends Jon Stephens, Shon Ross, and Eric Washington, Two Docs Brewing Co. is Lubbock to its core. They have always been interested in doing the next coolest thing and what could be cooler than US soccer right now? They are excited to bring their brand of fun to the Matadors and help bring the World's Game to the city of Lubbock.

  • ERIC CUNNINGHAM

    Eric graduated from Texas Tech University in 2002 with a BS in Animal Science and from Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine with a DVM in 2006. He is currently an owner of Live Oak Animal Hospital, Live Oak South Animal Hospital and Two Docs Brewing Co. all in Lubbock, Tx. Eric enjoys spending time with his wife Averi and two boys Cade and Caleb. He is a former Texas Tech baseball player and an avid sports enthusiast that attends as many local sporting events as time will allow. He very much loves his hometown of Lubbock and is looking forward to helping bring professional soccer to the Hub City.

  • 3ESSO Investment Group

    Local investment group in the Hub City founded by Felix Cedillo and Erik Rodriquez. Both are heavily involved in ANYTHING Lubbock and sports. Cedillo has majority ownership interests in All American Eatery & Catering, All American Eatery #2, S.A.C.K.S Salsa LLC and a new venture coming soon in Downtown Lubbock, All American’s Mexican Hideout. His beautiful wife of 21 years always by his side have 5 kids, 4 grandkids and a lot of patience. Rodriquez is employed with Plains All American Pipeline and stays busy with his lovely wife of 16 years and have a 19 year old son and a gorgeous and spunky 6 year old daughter. They are heavy soccer fanatics among any other sports their children are involved in.

  • LANCE PATTON

    25-year Medical Executive with Global responsibilities for a world-renowned organization. Lance is a Texas Tech Alumni with West Texas roots. He advanced his learning with a Master of International Business based in England and has worked in Israel, Germany, Scotland, England, and Japan. His career has blessed him with the ability to have traveled the world where he fell in love with the game of "football' having attended many international matches, including three World Cups. He currently sits on several boards and is excited to have the opportunity to be a part of bringing the Matadors to the LBK.

  • King's Highway

    King's Highway Charters and Tours was established in February 1997. God put us in business, hence the name King's Highway. Tom and Vickie Walters are involved in many aspects of sports all across West Texas. Tom played, coached and refereed soccer for over 15 years, so we are both very excited to be a part of Lubbock's newest professional athletic venture with the Matadors!
