Matadors Must Come Away With Points On Saturday

No one likes it when you say, "this is a must-win game" they generally think you are exaggerating, but the way the lone star conference is shaping, the Matadors will need points in a hurry to keep pace with the top half of the league. Lubbock S.C currently is in 6th place with seven points and three points behind 5th place Irving F.C.Only four teams make the playoffs in the NPSL, which makes the upcoming game on Saturday against 4th place Brownsville even more crucial.

F.C Brownsville is sitting in 4th with 12 points. The Matadors are only five points back from 4th place. The Matadors have to find a way to come away with some points, if not three, at least one to slow down Brownsville from pulling away in the standings even more. It's a dog fight in the top half of the Lonestar Conference. Matadors are on the outside looking in but have a chance to jump right into the middle of the fight with a win Saturday night.

I hate to say it, but the Matadors must get some points tomorrow to keep their season alive.
