Dustin McCorkle Hired To Be the Lubbock Matadors S.C General Manager
Lubbock Matadors get their GM as the inaugural season approaches
[Lubbock, Texas, January 31st]-Dustin McCorkle hired as the first GM of the LubbockMatadors SC. He has previous experience working countless years in the NHL and NBA. Hebrings his expertise to Lubbock to help Matadors compete in the NPSL.
McCorkle comes back to Lubbock to serve the community he loves; as a Texas Tech alumni, hewants to provide high-quality soccer entertainment for the community. His vision for the club isevident as he stated during his introduction video for the Matadors, "We will be all about theABCs. A's for the accountability; we will be accountable to our community and the way we play.B is for the belief we're going to believe in what we are doing to provide high-level play for thecommunity. C is for competing; we will compete on and off the field to be the best". McCorklewill lead the Matadors into their inaugural season in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), one of the most prominent established men's soccer leagues in the United States, withover 90 teams competing across the country. The NPSL has 4 Regions and 14 Conferencesacross the US showcasing some of the best teams and players in all parts of the country." It's anexciting time for soccer in the Hub City!
